Chapter Service Initiatives
As a women's service organization, we are active in the community both as a chapter and as individuals, in keeping with the mission of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution which is "to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism," in our communities. Some of our chapter initiatives are highlighted in pictures: volunteering as Guardian Assistants welcoming veterans returning on Honor Flight Columbus' 100th mission flight; sponsoring the plaque for John Decker's grave site, one of our member's American Revolutionary War ancestor; and serving as guides at the Worthington Historical Society's historic property known as the Orange Johnson House. Serving the community, beautifying the Worthington Post Office.
